ja tez za bardzo nie moge sie zgodzic z docg. Bylem w zeszlym roku prawie trzy tygodnie w Prowansji, Langwedocji i Dolinie Rodanu i przyznam, ze czesc tamtejszych win w szczegolnosci wlasnie z prowansji to wina miernej jakosci tym bardziej, iz ok. 70% produkcji to wina rose. Ale nie dramatyzujmy! Jest masa dobrych i bardzo dobrych producentow takich jak:

Australia’s largest DVD burner lab closed down
Saturday, 24 November 2007

By Robert Collings. The largest ever pirate DVD burner lab in Australia was
raided earlier in the week by Victorian police with assistance from the
Australian Federation Against Copyright Theft (AFACT).

The lab was capable of producing 2.2 million pirate DVDs per annum with a
reported street value of A$16.6 million (US$14.5 million). Films discovered in
the raid included Lions For Lambs and Hairspray, both of which are currently
showing in Australian cinemas and are not yet legitimately available on DVD in
the territory.

In the last five weeks Australian police have seized a total of 300,600
pirated movies with an estimated street value of over A$21.5 million (US$18.8
million).

According to AFACT the illegal distribution of unauthorised copies of movies
rose from 4 per cent in 2000 to around 10 per cent of the legitimate market in
2004. Police across Australia have more than doubled the number of illegal
discs seized in 2004 compared to 2003. Australian Customs seized over 40,000
pirate DVDs imported into Australia in 2004, a 185 per cent increase compared
to the 14,000 seized by Customs in 2003.

Wiesz, krótki przegląd poprawek wprowadzonych w kodzie ntfs-3g w
ostatnich dwóch latach bynajmniej nie napawa optymizmem. Ot, jeszcze w
maju tego roku siedział w nim bardzo poważny babol w prosty sposób
prowadzący do zniszczenia partycji z klastrem innym, niż 4096 bajtów.
Dla jasności, klaster 512 bajtów jest równie często spotykany jak
klaster 4 kB, a nie "more uncommon", jak piszą autorzy programu. Trochę
szczegółów:

"STABLE Version 1.2506 (May 6, 2008) -- Release Notes
Fix: In certain, rare circumstances, any area of the NTFS volume, except
the NTFS boot sector, could get corrupted. The chance for this to happen
is higher for close to full disk utilization and using one of the more
uncommon, less than 4096 byte cluster sizes. The cluster size is logged
under the /var/logs directory usually in the 'messages' or 'daemon.log'
log file, as the blksize mount parameter. All stable releases have this
issue since version 1.328. Upgrade is strongly recommended from all
NTFS-3G releases."

i jeszcze

"NTFS volumes using less than 4 KB cluster size (512, 1024, 2048) are in
much greater risk. The highest risk is for volumes using 512 byte
cluster size.
We are also __very__ lucky to find this problem just in the last moment.
The next stable Linux 2.6.26 kernel can send bigger than 4 KB write
blocks which would have exposed the so far thankfully underutilized bug
in NTFS-3G resulting random NTFS corruptions on large scale."

Jeżeli uważasz ntfs-3g za poważny program do
poważnych zastosowań, a nie za niebezpieczną zabawkę, to tylko podziwiam
Twoją niefrasobliwość.


Oj, w ruską ruletkę też lubię pograć, a w wolnym czasie uczę się żonglerki
odbezpieczonymi granatami.  ;-)
